About us

Walbrook Law LLP was set up by Bill Parker and Adam Fuge in 2013 to fulfil a shared vision of a specialist employment practice which provides the highest quality representation to employers and senior executive clients. Our firm is based on the following core values:

Partner-led. Our practice is based on a business model which ensures that our clients benefit directly from our combined wealth of experience as solicitors. As a niche, partner-led firm, we focus our time and energies on providing the best possible service to our clients.

Responsive.  Most employment law issues that our clients require advice on are urgent. We understand the importance of good communication and always aim to respond to our clients’ needs and queries quickly and efficiently.

Strategic. We recognise that clients require more than just technically correct employment advice. We use our wide experience of different industry sectors and specific situations acting for both employers and employees to deliver advice which is always strategic, clear and tailored to clients’ needs.

Practical.  We are highly experienced in acting for both employers and senior executives on employment tribunal litigation, restrictive covenant and bonus disputes and the negotiation of employment contracts and severance packages.  We recognise when a client’s objectives require a case to be litigated, and when it makes sense to negotiate a settlement. We ensure that our dealings with other solicitors are always conducted with our clients’ interests as our sole focus.

Personable. We always aim to provide our advice in a professional but personable manner.  We believe that clients will prefer to use lawyers who they enjoy working with.

Specialist.  We are and will remain a niche employment firm.  We believe that operating as a specialist employment law practice enhances our ability as experienced employment lawyers to provide a service to our clients which incorporates all the above values.

Prior to establishing Walbrook Law, Bill Parker and Adam Fuge were colleagues for a number of years first in the employment team at leading London firm Olswang, and then as partners at city firm Maxwell Winward.

Walbrook Law was strengthened further with the arrival of Robert Davies in 2016 and Karen Martell in 2018.

Robert joined from CMS where he had been a partner in the London employment team, having previously been a partner at Dundas and Wilson (pre-merger with CMS Cameron McKenna) and Clifford Chance.

Karen previously trained and qualified as a solicitor at Olswang, where she was an associate in the employment team for a number of years.
